Revisit this week's Motivational Minute

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow.
Albert Einstein

Hope is the companion of power, and mother of success; for who so hopes strongly has within him the gift of miracles.
Samuel Smiles
Scottish author, 1812-1904

No matter how difficult the past may have been, every one of us have the choice today of taking the collection of events which is our past and using them to build a greater future.  Past mistakes even past successes can keep us from reaching our very best in the future by dwelling on them too much. The one who is stuck on their "glory days" of youth may be missing out on the greater accomplishments of today and beyond.  Likewise, the one who has experienced a difficult past can miss out on greater tomorrows when they stay consumed in the hurts that they have been dealt.

Action Item: Whether good or bad the past is past, choose today to be strengthened by whatever has transpired.  Then you can take a positive step toward a greater future, powered by these experiences.
